We talked about the Reading Chamber and Economic Development Corporation Career and Technology Centers as being a pipeline for skilled manufacturing potential hires. We also learned about ways we could work with other schools and training centers including the Reading Area Community College’s Schmidt Training and Technology Center, the Berks Career and Technology Center (BCTC), and the Reading Muhlenberg Career and Technology Center (RMCTC) who can connect us with students who are enrolled in manufacturing classes such as welding, CNC, CAD, and mechatronics.
Deb and Randy then toured our facility and were impressed by the facility and the large-scale components and sub-assemblies we manufacture at The Rose Corporation. We look forward to working with the Greater Reading Chamber.
