As a company invested in continuous improvement, The Rose Corporation benefits daily from our own commitment to continuous improvement activities based upon an “everybody, every day” culture for change.  The industrial furnace sales team is executing its own, multi-stage continuous improvement activity that allows The Rose Corporation to improve and sustain activities that impact quality, price, and delivery for the multitude of parts sold to customers operating industrial furnaces and atmosphere generating equipment.

The industrial furnace sales team identified select parts to develop new value streams capable of sustaining competitive pricing to our customers, as well as improving delivery cycles without compromising the quality industrial furnace customers expect.  Early data, combined with customer feedback, clearly indicate the industrial furnace team is achieving the desired results for the continuous improvement initiatives on their project.  Here are just three examples of the benefits industrial furnace customers are realizing due to the industrial furnace team’s focus on continuous improvement:

Item  Previous Delivery Cycle New Delivery Cycle Improvement Value
Furnace Roll Bearings 6-8 Weeks Next Day No Price Increase
Silicone Carbide Hearth Tiles 10-12 Weeks 4 Weeks Reduced Price
Ammonia Dissociator Catalyst Chambers 12-14 Weeks 4-6 Weeks Reduced Delivery Cycle

Our industrial furnace engineers are currently running beta testing on a new style glo-plug for use in atmosphere furnaces.  The new glo-plugs are set to reduce costs and delivery cycles.  Early data suggests we are on track to hit both objectives with the newly designed glo-plugs.
